Star Indian boxer to train Varun Tej

After scoring a hit with Gaddalakonda Ganesh, Mega Prince Varun Tej is now prepping up to come with a boxing drama. The Mukunda actor always tries to be versatile in his script selections and doesn't go for the commercial formulae. Titled Boxer, this film is being directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati.

In fact, this film was actually supposed to go on floors before Gaddalakonda Ganesh. Varun also took training in the professional kickboxing under Olympic medallist Tony Jeffries, in the USA for a couple of months. But after that, he signed Gaddalakonda Ganesh and finished that film first.

Now, Varun is getting trained under Indian champion boxer Neeraj Goyat, before starting the shoot of this film. Neerja is one of the popular boxers in our country and also the first Indian to make it to the world rankings of WBC.

Meanwhile, Hollywood stunt choreographer Larnell Stoval, who earlier worked for Salman Khan's Sultan, will compose the boxing sequences of this movie. The regular shoot of this film will begin soon. Boxer is being produced by Allu Venkatesh. Apparently, iSmart Shankar heroines Nabha Natesh and Nidhhi Agerwal will play the female leads in this movie.
