The struggle is a forever entity in the film industry. Everyone in the industry has to struggle to attain success. Even when one gets success, there is no guarantee that it will be forever. If we talk about the struggle, we have to mention Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kumar. Both the actor never forgot where they came from and what all it took for them to attain success. It was their determination and presence of mind, which made them stars in those times. Sanjeev Kumar used to act in Gujarati plays before venturing into films. Films like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Sunghursh and Khilona brought out his talent.
Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra have also struggled but not as much as the former actors. Both of them hail from Bombay and thus, they have a household in the city even if they cannot make it big in films. Rajesh Khanna scored his first hit with his sixth film Bandhan. Immediately, he scored a blockbuster with Aradhana. Then there was no looking back for the actor. He scored about 22 consecutive hits in a span of five years. Jeetendra, on the other hand, found no success in the initial stages of his career. He found his success when he started remaking South Indian films in Hindi.
Then came Amitabh Bachchan, who tried to join in All India Radio but got rejected as his voice was apparently not suitable for radio. He first appeared in supporting roles. The film changed his career was Zanjeer. Then there was no looking back for the actor. He is currently one of the best actors produced by the Indian Film Industry.
