Suhasini Maniratnam to reprise the role of Manju Warrier, for the remake of Lucifer with Chiranjeevi; Full details inside

Lucifer is a super successful Malayalam film starring Mohanlal in the lead role. Manju Warrier played a very important role in the movie as his sister. Prithviraj Sukumaran marked his debut as a director with the movie. Now, the film is getting remade in Telugu with Megastar Chiranjeevi playing the lead role of the movie. The buzz is that Suhasini is on board to reprise the role of Manju Warrier form the original.

Initially, there were rumours that the makers are roping in Vijaya Shanthi for the role but there is no clarity on the same right now. As of now, there is no confirmation on the actress who actually plays the character. But, Suhasini's name is also popping in the media reports. Suhasini is also a great choice for the movie. Both Suhasini and Chiranjeevi acted as a couple in the past but it would be interesting to see them doing these roles. Sujeeth is going to direct the remake in Telugu and he is occupied with the work of changes to the script. The final narration might take place soon.
