Suriya has informed fans that the title and first look of the film will be released on April 16. The title will be revealed at nine o'clock in the morning on that day. The film is being directed by Siruthai Siva. The film will be released in 10 languages, including Malayalam. This is Suriya's 42nd film in his film career. The film is produced by Vamshi Pramod under the banner of UV Creations and KE Gnanavelraja under the banner of Studio Green. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film. Vetri Palanisamy and Nishd Yusuf did the cinematography.This is a film directed by Siva after Rajinikanths Annathe. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the OTT rights to 'Suriya 42'.
