For his upcoming movie, Suriya 42, the actor Suriya has linked up with the filmmaker Siruthai Siva. The motion poster for the new movie, which began filming with the entire cast and crew last month following the muhurat puja, will be unveiled today, September 9. The movie starring Suriya is titled "The Prestigious Mega Project." It also stars Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Anand Rah in supporting roles. It includes Disha Patani in a key role.
The project's producer, UV Creation, announced the release date of the #Suriya42MotionPoster Video on Twitter with an announcement poster and the message, "Video will be out tomorrow at 10 am."
The yet-to-be titled movie will be filmed in and near Goa and Chennai. The film's second phase of production will start on September 13 in Goa after the first five days of shooting were completed in Chennai. It is understood that the director intends to film a large-scale brawl in which about 250 bouncers would take part.
The movie Suriya 42 would reportedly be produced on a massive scale and released in ten different languages. It's interesting to note that there are rumours that a sequel to the film is also in the works. Devi Sri Prasad composed the soundtrack for the movie.
Milan serves as the art director for the movie, and Vetri Palanisamy is the cinematographer. The action choreography is being handled by Supreme Sundar. The next film's writer is Adi Narayana, a collaborator of the director, while Madhan Karky is responsible for penning the dialogue.
This year has witnessed two films of the Jai Bheem actor so far. His 2022 films Viruman and Etharkkum Thunindhavan scored good at the box office. In Vikram , starring Kamal Haasan, he received praise from critics for his lengthy cameo appearance as Rolex.
Suriya has already committed to two projects: Vetri Maaran's Vaadi Vaasal and the Vaanagan, which will be directed by Bala.
