Suriya has announced a mega-budget film with filmmaker Siruthai Siva, which would be filmed in 10 languages in two parts. The film has been provisionally named 'Suriya 42,' and production began with a pooja in Chennai. The latest news about the film is that Suriya and Disha Patani have started filming for 'Suriya 42' in Goa. The main shot for 'Suriya 42' will take place in Goa's woodland region, and the creators have scheduled a 100-day shoot. Suriya and Disha Patani, the film's principal actors, have also arrived on site today as the production nears completion.
'Suriya 42' will be shot in both 2D and 3D simultaneously, and a stunt scene involving over 250 artists will be shot first to kick off the Goa schedule. Suriya's high-budget film will be a historical drama in which the talented actor will play five distinct roles. A massive set is also built in Goa for the filming.
Ravi Raghavendra, Anirudh Ravichander's father, and actor has confirmed his involvement in 'Suriya 42,' but no more information about the supporting cast has been published. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the soundtrack, while Vetri will be in charge of the photography.
Suriya also has work to finish on 'Vanangan,' directed by Bala, and the film's next filming schedule will also take place in Goa.
