Suriya is struggling with form as his last couple of films failed to rake in profits at the box-office. Now he has pinned his hopes on his upcoming film, Soorarai Potter. The actor is quite hopeful about Soorarai Pottru striking big at the box office. The biopic, Which marks the actor's first collaboration with talented filmmaker Sudha Kongara, is one of the most-awaited Tamil films of 2020. The film is based on the life of Air Deccan founder, Captain GR Gopinath.
Suriya is currently on a signing spree. He will be next working on Hari's Aruvaa and Vetrimaaran's Vaadi Vaasal. Now the latest what we hear is Suriya is in talks with the reputed filmmaker TN Gananavel for his upcoming next. The director, who is known for the acclaimed movie Koottathil Oruthan, is planning to direct a film based on the Irular tribal community of Tamil Nadu and has approached the Suriya to play the lead role in it.
Reportedly, Suriya is mighty impressed with the line. He has asked the director to fine-tune the script and asked to come up with a complete dialogue version. If everything goes as per the plan, Suriya will team up with TN Gnanavel for this prestigious project. Once the producer and other things get finalized this project goes on floors in the month of May.
