Suriya was last seen in Kaappaan which bombed at the box office. Suriya is now coming up with his much-awaited movie Soorarai Pottru. The film is on the life of former Army captain and Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath.
The latest update on Suriya's Soorarai Pottru is that the movie shoot has wrapped up. Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame directing this movie.
Tollywood Veteran actor Mohan Babu is playing the antagonist role in the movie. The film also has Urvasi, Aparna Balamurali and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.
Soorarai Pottru movie produced by Suriya and Rajasekar Karpoorasundarapandian Guneet Monga under the banner of 2D Entertainment along with Sikhya Entertainment. Sudha Kongara’s last directorial venture was Irudhi Suttru (2016). In 2017, she has helmed the Telugu remake of Irudhi Suttru titled Guru, starring Venkatesh and Ritika Singh.
