Surya-Siva Project To Start Rolling On August 21st

Actor Suriya and filmmaker Bala are reportedly in Goa filming for their upcoming movie, "Vanangaan." Yesterday, the actor was seen in Mumbai with his family. As of right now, it is known that he will start filming with director Siva on August 21. 70% of the shooting for Suriya's movie with Bala is reportedly finished, with the remaining being postponed as the director adjusts the script's sequences. The actor will reportedly start filming for his second movie in the interim.

However, the cast and crew of Siva's film, which stars Suriya in the lead role, have yet to be officially announced by the film's producers. Suriya had committed to working with filmmaker Siva for his 39th feature, but the production has been delayed for a long time. Additionally, it was previously stated that Suriya and Vetrimaaran will begin filming in August for their movie "Vaadivaasal." It is unclear at this time if the actor will now begin filming for "Vaadivaasal" or the untitled Siva movie. In other developments, Suriya just received the National Award for Best Actor for the 2019 movie "Soorarai Pottru." He is also the producer of his brother Karthi’s latest rural entertainer, Viruman.
