After doing glamourous roles in the South, Taapsee Pannu underwent a complete changeover when she went to Bollywood. She has been doing content and performance-oriented films. This stint is also reaping her rewards in the Hindi film industry. This year, Taapsee came up with Badla, Game Over, Mission Mangal, and Saand Ki Aankh. All four films brought a lot of accolades to the actress.
According to the B-Town sources, Taapsee has signed her new Hindi project. Directed by Vinil Mathew of Hasee Toh Phasee fame, this film will be a romantic thriller. Vikrant Massey, who was earlier seen in films like Dil Dhadakne Do and A Death in the Gunj, will play the male lead role in the film. The sources claimed that it is not confirmed whether both actors play romantic interests in the film. Apparently, the makers wanted to hold that suspense element among the audience by roping in this fresh pair for the film.
The shoot of the film will start in early 2020 and it will hit the theatres towards the end of the same year. Anand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar are jointly bankrolling this film together under Color Yellow Productions and T-Series respectively. Stay tuned for more updates on this movie.
