Senior Tamil actor R. Parthipan has scored a big success recently with his experimental film Oththa Seruppu Size 7. Parthipan directed this film and also played the lead role in it. In fact, the film consists of only one character and that is also played by himself. The film won wide critical acclaim and also was well received by the audience. It has got wide recognition when it landed on Netflix a couple of months back.
Meanwhile, Parthipan is now planning to remake the film in Hindi. According to the latest sources from Kollywood, the actor has already approached Nawazuddin Siddique to reprise the lead role in the Hindi version. Parthipan will direct the Hindi version as well. In a recent interview, Parthipan also said that he is in talks with a few Hollywood studios to remake the film in English. He wants to take the film to the international level as he thinks that it has that caliber to appeal to the audience across the world.
Oththa Seruppu Size 7 is also winning many awards in this season. But Parthipan was quite upset that Vikatan awards didn't honor his film properly. he said that he wouldn't accept any award from Vikatan as they didn't select his film in any major category.
