Bollywood star hero Ajay Devgn opened 2020 on a superb note by scoring a blockbuster with his recent film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. This Om Raut directorial is having a tremendous run and is dominating the box office even after 24 days of its release. By yesterday, Tanhaji has crossed the magical 250 crore mark and became the 12th highest-grossing film in Hindi cinema, surpassing URI: The Surgical Strike.
Even on its fourth weekend, Tanhaji did well by collecting Rs. 4.48 crores on Saturday and Rs. 6.28 crores on Sunday. This made the film collect a total of Rs. 251.40 crores in 24 days. As there are no other big releases in the near future, the trade pundits are predicting that the film can surpass the 275 crore mark and also beat Kabir Singh to become the 11th highest-grossing film of all time.
Tanhaji tells the story of the unsung Maratha warrior of the same name. The viewers were quite intrigued by the film and made it a super-hit. Especially, the film is collecting well in Mumbai and the other Maharashtra regions. Kajol played the female lead in the movie while Saif Ali Khan essayed the role of antagonist.
