Thala Ajith Wraps Up Valimai Foreign Schedule

Thala Ajith's Valimai has been in the making for nearly two years now. Directed by H Vinoth, the film is produced by Boney Kapoor under his home banner Bayview Projects Ltd. Valimai is a cop drama in which Ajith will play the role of a police officer. The shooting of Valimai resumed in Hyderabad after the lockdown restrictions were eased in India. The talkie portions of the film were wrapped up a few weeks ago. Last week, Ajith and the Valimai crew headed to Russia for the shooting of the fight sequence. The team shot for nearly four days to film the high-octane action sequence. Now that they have wrapped up the shoot, they will be flying back to Chennai on September 2.

The foreign schedule got delayed by a few months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Ajith's fans are enjoying the fact that the shooting has been completed. The makers of Valimai released the first single, Naanga Vera Maari, recently, which is ruling the charts. Ajith's fans were expecting the film's second single on Yuvan Shankar Raja's birthday. However, there was no update on Yuvan's birthday. If everything goes as per plan, Valimai will hit the theatres on Diwali 2021.
