Thalaivar Shares An Old Picture With Chessboard As He Has Been Invited To Host The Chess Tournament

Rajinikanth, the superstar, will be hosting the 44th Chess Olympiad which is happening in Mahabalipuram. The competition, which is being inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is taking place close to Mahabalipuram, some 50 kilometers from Chennai. It will take place between July 28 and August 10.

Thalaiva tweeted. The superstar even shared an old photograph of himself looking at the chessboard as he decides on his next chess move. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth was recently in the news when the Income Tax authorities recognized him for consistently paying his taxes. He was said to be Tamil Nadu's highest taxpayer. Rajinikanth then teamed up with director Nelson Dilipkumar for his upcoming flick, Jailer. Shivrajkumar, a well-known Kannada actor, would reportedly play a significant part in this much-awaited drama. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is reportedly also being considered to play the female lead in Jailer, according to other reports. Previously, these two appeared together onscreen in the 2010 drama Enthiran.
