'Thalaivi' is an upcoming much-awaited movie that bases on the life story of legendary actress and late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha.
Being directed AL Vijay, Bollywood beauty Kangana Ranaut is essaying the role of Jayalalitha in the movie. The expectations have been high on this film. Vishnu Induri is bankrolling this project. The director says that it is a dream project for all of them.
"Amma was a renowned personality and it is now our responsibility to show authenticity in making her biopic. We have been working hard for the pre-production works" said AL Vijay.
Talking about Kangana, he said that it takes almost six-and-a-half hours to get the prosthetic makeup done. He revealed that the next schedule will begin in December. The shooting will take place in Hyderabad and then the shoot shifts to Mysore and Chennai.
The makers have versatile actors Aravinda Swamy in the role of MG Ramachandran as well as Prakash Raj in Karunanidhi's shoes. The movie will get released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages.
