Thalapathy 64 is one of the most talked-about films in recent times as it marks the first time collaboration of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj. It means that Vijay is moving away from commercial directors to choose unique scripts written by fairly young filmmakers.
Before the release of Bigil (October 25), the shooting of Thalapathy 64 went on floors in Chennai. The team wrapped up the first schedule quickly and the team prepped for a long schedule in Delhi. Currently, the second schedule is underway in Delhi and it will go on for 40 days.
The recent update is that the makers are planning to wrap up the entire film by mid-February so that they will have ample time for post-production. Going by the updates, Thalapathy 64 will release in summer 2020.
Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators is bankrolling Thalapathy 64 on a mammoth scale by. The film has a huge star cast including Malavika Mohanan, Vijay Sethupathi, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and Antony Varghese.
