Vijay’s decision to team up with young director Lokesh Kanagaraj had proven to be one of the bold decisions he has taken in recent times. Until now, the film was tentatively titled Thalapathy 64 and now, the film has a title, and a brilliant one at that.
On New Year’s Eve, the film’s title was revealed as Master. The first look poster is intriguing as it did not reveal anything related to the story. Vijay looks blurred in the poster and was seen rotating his Kada. In no time, the poster went viral on all social media platforms as expected.
Thalapathy 64 is produced by Xavier Britto under his home banner XB Film Creators. The film’s shooting took place recently at the Shivmogga prison in Karnataka. Now, the team is on a break for the New Year. They will resume the shoot in the first week of January in Chennai at a popular studio.
The film includes a stellar cast including Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Gouri Kishan, and others. The film has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander who is basking in the success of Darbar.
