Thalapathy Vijay has completed around half of the shoot of Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidapally. However, because of the massive success of "Vikram," which stars Kamal, VJS, and Fahadh Faasil, audiences are looking forward to Lokesh’s next film, "Thalapathy 67" with similar or greater expectations than Varisu.
Reportedly, Lokesh Kanagaraj has begun writing the script for "Thalapathy 67" and has deleted his social media accounts in order to focus on it for the upcoming few months. But as time goes on, unofficial updates regarding the massive project leaked. The cast list is rumored to include well-known actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sanjay Dutt, and other leading men from Tollywood and Sandalwood.
The latest rumor is that Vijay will be acting with the senior heroine, Trish in Thalapathy 67. The duo has given four films of which 'Ghilli' and 'Thirupaachi' were superhits and the rest are 'Kuruvi' and 'Aadhi'. The reason why the senior actress is roped off is said to be because Vijay himself reportedly plays a Mumbai gangster who is above fifty years of age. Trisha is now waiting for the big release of Ponniyin Selvan in which she plays the role of Kundavi. Even though an official confirmation is not yet announced even regarding the director of the film, the anticipation over the film is massive.
