Thaman's music for Pawan Kalyan's Pink remake

We are already aware that Pawan Kalyan is making his acting comeback after a gap of two years with the Telugu remake of Hindi courtroom drama Pink. Boney Kapoor, who bankrolled the Tamil remake, has joined hands with Dil Raju, for this Telugu remake. Sriram Venu, who earlier directed the films, Oh My Friend and MCA, will helm this movie.

Thaman was signed up as the music director of the film. Yesterday, the official handle of Dil Raju's Sri Venkateshwara Creations confirmed the news by tweeting, "#SVC40 is a remake of PINK. The music composing session starts off on a superb note with @MusicThaman giving a terrific tune. Directed by Sriram Venu." Then, Thaman replied, "#godbless My first very big journey with our hero gaaru. My third with @dilraju_svcgaaru & my director #VenuSriram gaaru. Kickstarted our compositions today."

The shoot of this film will start in January and the makers are planning to release it in summer 2020. Nivetha Thomas is reprising the role of Taapsee Pannu from the original. Meanwhile, Thaman is in red-hot form by bagging the chances of composing tunes for Balayya's next, Nani's Tuck Jagadish and now, this Pink remake. Looks like next year is going to be a big one for the composer.
