Young talented filmmaker Tharun Bhascker made a striking debut into the industry with breezy rom-com Pelli Choopulu. Later, he made buddy comedy Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. Even though the film was a flop at the box-office, it gained a cult status when it got released online. After that, there were many rumors saying that Tharun is making a film with Venkatesh but that didn't go on floors till now.
Meanwhile, he signed an anthology film for Netflix, which runs on the lines of Lust Stories. This will be the first Telugu Netflix original film and it is not a remake of Lust Stories. Tharun has directed one of the segments of this four-part anthology film.
The shoot has started a few weeks back and Tharun has successfully wrapped it up the other day. He posted a picture from the sets and captioned, "Netflix, done. Next !"
According to the sources, Lakshmi Manchu played the lead role in Tharun's segment. Two of the other three segments are being directed by Sankalp Reddy and Nandini Reddy. Eesha Rebba is playing the lead role in Sankalp's segment while Amala Paul is acting in Nandini's story. We are yet to know about the fourth director of this film.
