The Batman movie is one of the most anticipated DC films already. It has been only a few weeks since Matt Reeves shared a first look at Robert Pattinson in the new Batsuit and new pictures are out already. The latest pictures reveal Batman riding a completely new bike.
A short video clipping also shows Robert Pattinson's stunt double riding the bike before falling off of it. The Batsuit has no physical cape which probably means it will get added later through CGI. Other pictures also reveal Selena Williams aka Catwoman alongside the caped crusader. Many fans were quick to compare the short clip with a scene from Christan Bale's Batman trilogy which also features the Batman riding a bike multiple times.
The set pictures and videos are from Glasgow where the crew is currently shooting. The new Batman film seems inspired by a more gritty version of the superhero. The bike as well as the newest Batsuit come straight out Batman: Zero Year. Batman: Zero Year follows the story of Batman in his early years.
It will be interesting to see how Matt Reeves takes inspiration from the Batman: Zero Year storyline and brings it to reel.
Aside from Robert Pattinson as the Batman, the film stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth. The film is all set to release in 2021.
