Shari is an actor who has won the hearts of the Malayalam audience with her two Padmarajan films ‘Namukk Parkkan Munthiri Thoppukal’ and ‘Deshadana Kili Karayarilla’. Even though she is not a Malayalee, she became the heroine of Malayalam through these films.

 
Shari also played the lead role in the recently released Prithviraj-Dijo Jose Antony movie Jana Gana Mana. Shari played the mother role of Saba Mariam played by Mamta Mohandas in the film. Now, the actor says that when she is acting in new movies, directors ask her about Padmarajan. Shari made this clear in an interview given to a YouTube channel.
 
Shari is currently starring in Nivin Pauly's film directed by Roshan Andrews. The film is being shot in Mysore. The Padmarajan movie Namukk Parkkan Munthirthoppukal was shot in Mysore. Shari says that Roshan Andrews asked about her experiences with Padmarajan during the shooting. According to Shari, not only Roshan but also Jana Gana Mana director Dijo had asked about her experiences with him.
 
“Directors often ask if he was cool. How was Sir Padmarajan on the set? How did he explain that scene? The new generation of directors are considering Padmarajan Sir as a school;” says Shari.
 
The character played by Shari in Jana Gana Mana was well received by the audience. Along with Shari, Prithviraj, and Mamta, the film also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Vince Aloysius in other important roles. The movie was released on April 28.
