This is how Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will celebrate their first Diwali after Marriage.

It’s almost a year since Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in Lake Como, Italy. The beautiful wedding was nothing less than a fairytale. In the presence of close relatives and friends, the Bollywood power couple exchanged their vows. Come December, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married as per both Sindhi and Konkani traditions in Italy. Post their wedding, the couple threw a reception in Mumbai. Needless to say, this Diwali is going to be extra special for them since it happens to be their first Diwali post marriage. Talking about her Diwali plans, Deepika said, “Family time, we extremely value the time we have with our parents and sisters. We will not be working that’s the rule and we won’t be socialising much. Just family time!”

While talking about her husband, she also attributed her success to him. She said, “in terms of how comfortable he’s been with my success, or how supportive he is. We’re a good team. We’re still so excited by each other, so inspired by each other. He’s my best friend.” On the work front, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have shared screen space in films such as Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat and now, they will act in Kabir Khan’s 83 whereas Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of Romi Dev, while Ranveer will play the role of Kapil Dev.
