Balakrishna's NTR Kathanayakudu underwent a lot of changes before it could hit the theatres. Earlier, director Teja was in to wield the megaphone and the film went on floors with him donning the director's hat.
Due to the difference of opinion between Teja and Balakrishna, the director opted out of the film after which director Krish Jagarlamudi was on boarded. The film also hit the theatres on January 9 and received positive reviews from the critics but the box office collection didn't speak for itself.
Ever since he exited out of the project, Teja didn’t comment on the film. Recently, he was asked whether he had watched NTR Kathanayakudu and what he thinks about the movie.
Teja said, “Since I was busy with my upcoming film, I didn’t have time to watch NTR Kathanayakudu. Otherwise, I would have definitely commented on the film.”
When the interviewer asked that people felt that NTR Kathanayakudu lacked drama, Teja revealed, “ It all depends on the director. He needs to have a brain for that.” With regards to NTR Kathanayakudu, this is the only comment he has made so far.
