Mahesh Babu and the entire team of Maharshi are gearing up for the release of the film. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film starring Pooja Hegde and Jagapathi Babu will release on May 9.
As the team is expecting a great opening for the film, ticket rates are said to be increased. Prasad Multiplex is selling the tickets for Maharshi at Rs 200 for an executive class ticket.
Mahesh Babu’s AMB Cinemas, too, is selling the ticket for Rs 200. This is actually Rs 50 more than the usual price. It is unclear whether they had gotten the permission to hike the price rates.
In Andhra Pradesh, it is a rule to fix flat rates for big-budget films. But, with increased ticket rates, Maharshi is all set for a great opening.
