Tiger Shroff is slowly becoming the Sylvester Stallone of Bollywood. This Shroff Jr. has become a care-of address of action based masala movies. Baaghi is an official remake of the 2004 Telugu super hit film Varsham.
Shraddha Kapoor played the female lead in this film. Telugu actor Sudheer Babu essayed the role of an antagonist. The film marked the first time collaboration between Tiger and Shraddha. The duo has reunited again for 2020 film Baaghi 3. It follows the love story between a martial arts champion and a film actress.
Baaghi was highly praised for its exemplary action sequences. This is the first film in which Tiger fully unleashed his prowess in the action scenes. His combination scenes with
Sudheer Babu remained as the highlights of the film. Even the music of the film became a big hit. Song Cham Cham from the film was a chartbuster. It got over 680 million views on Youtube. Baaghi collected a gross of more than Rs. 100 crores and became one of the biggest hits in Shroff's career.
After its success, Tiger went on to act in two other films of the franchise, Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3. Baaghi 2, which was loosely based on Telugu film Kshanam, got released in 2018. The third installment Baaghi 3 was an official remake of Tamil film Vettai. It had hit the screens in March this year.
