Rahul Ravindran is the young hero in the Tollywood film industry who also turned a director. With Chi La Sow film, Rahul also scored a National award and he is now working on his next film titled Manmadhudu 2. On the occasion of Women's Day today, Rahul Ravindran did not want everyone to just extend the wishes but he made some valuable points on social media. Rahul wants every one of us not to make up the rules for anyone. He also urged that women will be just fine without our help and the hindrance would affect them.
"Respecting women isn't just about dedicating this one day to all the women in our lives who sacrificed their dreams and interests to serve and enable yours. It's as much to do with backing off and respecting those that refuse to. Those that want to live on their own terms. It's to do with not abusing and shutting down but respecting those who know how to stand up and ask for what they want. Those who make us uncomfortable by demanding that we change our ways so that the world is equal for them. Today isn't just about token plaudits to women who have achieved something against all odds. Conveniently, after they have achieved things. But it's as much about not being a hindrance until they get there. About making sure that they do not have to do so against all odds ever again. It's as much about not standing in their way even if you can't help them. They'll be just fine without our help. But the hindrance sure would affect them just like it would any man. Let them be. Don't make up the rules for their world. To an equal world." Rahul posted on his social media profile.
On the work front, he is yet to sign his next film and is busy with the script work.
