Before the release of Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab, the government of Andhra Pradesh introduced pre-fixed price slabs for ticketing system in cinema halls across the state. This led to a whole lot of uncertainty surrounding theatrical business in Andhra Pradesh.
In a bid to solve the issue, a Tollywood delegation led by megastar Chiranjeevi will soon be meeting with the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The meeting will take place at the chief minister’s office in Amaravati.
A few senior producers, actors, and directors will be a part of the delegation and they will be requesting the chief minister to relax the price slabs restriction which was passed recently.
Of late, there have been rumors that YS Jagan is trying to lure Chiranjeevi into joining YSRCP and is even ready to offer the latter a Rajyasabha member berth. Amid all the high drama, Chiranjeevi’s meeting with Jagan, albeit a Tollywood-centric one is turning many heads.
The final call on whether or not to permit flexible pricing for forthcoming Telugu releases will solelybe taken by the chief minister Jagan himself.
