This Friday the 20th September, Mega Prince Varun Tej’s ‘Valmiki’ and the Tamil biggie Suriya’s ‘Kaappaan’ dubbed Telugu version as ‘Bandobast’ is releasing.
Varun Tej’s Valmiki has completed censor formalities with a U/A certificate and the film’s run time has been locked at 168 minutes. Suriya's Bandobast has also cleared its censor with a U/A certificate and the movie's run time is 165 minutes.
Now both the movies are set for a grand release on this Friday. In Nizam, Valmiki is releasing in 192 theatres and Bandobast is releasing in 141 theatres and this count may increase by the end of the day.
Valmiki is an official remake of Tamil hit movie Jigarthanda, directed by Harish Shankar. Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta jointly produced this movie under 14 Reels Entertainment banner.
Bandobast, directed by KV Anand, Produced by Lyca Productions. Suriya plays an NSG commando while Mohanlal makes a grand entry as the country’s Prime minster. The film also has Arya, Sayyeshaa and Boman Irani in important roles.
Apart from Valmiki and Bandobast, two more small budget films Nenu Nagarjuna and Pandugadi Photo Studio are trying their luck at the box-office.
