Business for Sudeep-starrer 'Pailwaan', which will be releasing in five languages, has already begun. The film's team is in talks with some of the biggest distributors across India. Now, the distribution rights for the Telugu version of the film has been bagged by Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, a well-known production house which also distributed KGF.
Sai Korapatti, who owns Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, is from the Ballari district in Karnataka. He is very confident about the film and has hence decided to distribute the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He had made lots of money by distributing the Telugu version of "KGF". Reportedly, he spent Rs 5 crores to get the distribution rights to "KGF" and earned a return of Rs 20 crores.
Meanwhile, director Krishna, who is bankrolling the film under RRR Motion Pictures, is on the verge of closing the deal with the top distributor in Karnataka to release the Kannada version, and also with distributors who will be releasing the dubbed version of the film in Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam.
The film, which features Sudeep as a boxer and a wrestler, also features Akanksha Singh as the female lead along with Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, who is making his Kannada film debut. Karunakara has done the cinematography for the film.
