Vadivelu in trouble again: RK filed complaint with Producers Council

Vadivelu is one of the foremost comedians in the Tamil film industry. He was banned from Tamil Nadu after making slanderous comments during a political rally. When he made his comeback, he made poor choices with films which almost costed his career.

His last film was Mersal and he couldn’t at any other film due to multiple problems. Director Shankar has earlier complained against Vadivelu for non-cooperation and had demanded him to pay a whopping amount of Rs 6 crore to compensate the losses because of delay in shooting.

Recently, reports suggested that Vadivelu will star in Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 in which he will refuse his role Esaki from Thevar Magan. But now, there is a full stop to that as well because businessman and actor RK has filed a complaint against him with the Producers Council.

He had paid an amount of Rs 1 crore to Vadivelu to act in his film Naanum Neeyum Naduvula Peyum. But, Vadivelu didn’t turn up to the shoot and hence cause losses to him. Now, RK is demanding Vadivelu to pay back Rs 1 crore.
