Telugu heroes to pick up the stories which were previously rejected by other actors is quite common in Telugu Film Industry. The latest update is that Vaisshnav Tej who made a striking debut with Uppena has okayed a story that was recently turned down by Nani.
Going into the story, a newcomer named Prudhvi approached Nani with an action subject recently and the latter rejected it as he was not fully impressed with the plot.
Prudhvi then narrated the story to Vaishnav Tej after Uppena's release and got approval from him. Vaishnav Tej liked the script and green signaled the project.
Manam Entertainments, operated by Nagarjuna will be bankrolling the as-yet-untitled project which is expected to hit the floors soon.
Vaishnav Tej has already wrapped up shooting for his second film which is helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The film will be hitting the silver screens later this year.
After wrapping up Prudhvi's film, Vaishnav Tej will set focus on his immediate next project which will be bankrolled by Bhogavalli Prasad under SVCC Creations banner. The mega hero is said to have pocketed over Rs 2 crores remuneration for this film.
The super success of Uppena has worked wonders for both Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty. They are receiving several offers from top production houses in Tollywood.
