Valimai Director H Vinoth Opens Up About Working With Ajith And Kartikeya

It has been two years since the fans saw Thala Ajith on the big screen. He was last seen in director H Vinoth's Nerkonda Paarvai, which was released in 2019. Post the release of Nerkonda Paarvai, Ajith joined hands with director H Vinoth of Valimai. The film's shooting went on for about one and a half years due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Ajith's fans were so impatient that they started asking everyone to share the Valimai update. The post-production work of Valimai is currently underway as the film will release in theatres on Pongal 2022 across the globe. IN a recent interview with a Tamil magazine, director H Vinoth spoke about the film and working with Ajith and Kartikeya.

Speaking to the daily, H Vinoth said, "Ajith sir will never ask the full story of a movie. He usually asks about his part and other characters. He insists that the director should make a film for the audience and not for any other reasons. This s a complete Ajith Kumar film - one that fans can eagerly look forward to. There is something to enjoy, something to celebrate and enjoy with family. Initially, Tovino Thomas was approached to play the villain. Due to date issues, the makers decided to rope in Kartikeya. It was Ajith who wanted Kartikeya to play the role even though Vinoth wasn't convinced initially."
