Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, daughter of popular actor Sarathkumar marked her acting debut with 'Podaa Podi' movie in 2014. Although she enjoys a legacy of superstardom in the form of her father, she made a career on her own. Varalakshmi worked so hard to grab some film opportunities and finally made a splashing entry into the movies. She is currently the most wanted actress in both Telugu and Tamil, for some interesting roles. The actress who only picks performance-oriented roles marked her Tollywood debut with 'Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL'. She is now acting in more Telugu films where Krack starring Ravi Teja is one among them. She recently opened up about her career and said that she wants to do unique roles.

 
Recently, while talking in an interview, Varalaxmi opened up about her choice of films. "Right from my debut movie, 'Podaa Podi', I have always looked for different kinds of roles. Sometimes people also got confused and asked me if I am the lead actress or a supporting character or the negative character in my films. In fact, I don't like to categorize myself. If you are an actress, you should be able to do anything and justify that role," said Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
 
On the work front, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has a big lineup of projects which also includes 'Kanni Raasi', 'Velvet Nagaram', 'Kaatteri', 'Chasing', 'Danny' etc. She is also playing a crucial role in Ravi Teja's 'Krack'.
