‘Varisu’: Vijay Travels To Hyderabad For The Upcoming Schedule

The most awaited upcoming project of Thalapathy Vijay, ‘Varisu’, had its next schedule started in Hyderabad. Vijay joined the ‘Varisu’ team in Hyderabad for the fourth schedule. The movie directed by Vamshi Paidipally is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The scripting is done by Vamshi Paidipally, Hari, and Ahishor Solomon, and the dialogues are written by Vivek. The film stars Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. Prakash Raj, R. Sarathkumar, Shaam, Yogi Baby, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Khushbu, and Sangeetha Krish also appear in pivotal roles. Music is composed by S Thaman for the movie. The album consists of six songs. Additionally, a Telugu-dubbed version titled Vaarasudu is also planned by the makers.

Vijay's 66th movie in a leading role, with the working title Thalapathy 66, was revealed on September 26, 2021. Ahead of Vijay's 48th birthday, on June 21, 2022, the title Varisu was revealed. It is Paidipally's second Tamil film after Thozha and the first Tamil film produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic in India forced the project's creators to postpone their initial plans to announce it early that year, according to Paidipally. As the movie will take place throughout two separate historical periods, Vijay was also said to be flaunting two different appearances. The movie is expected to hit the theaters in January next year, during the Pongal season.
