Varun Dhawan turned a year older on April 24, Friday. Dhawan's fans and friends filled his social media with birthday messages. Many Bollywood stars also took to their respective Instagram accounts to wish the Student of the Year actor. For instance Arjun Kapoor shared a throwback picture of himself with Varun Dhawan from before their film days.
On the same day Varun Dhawan also took to Instagram and began a live stream to interact with his fans. He began the stream by wishing cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar a very happy birthday. Varun Dhawan and Sachin Tendulkar share a common birthdate. In the stream Varun can be seen wearing a black vest. Other celebrities also joined in on Varun Dhawan's steam. Varun also shared some details about his upcoming film, Coolie No 1. He said, "Coolie No 1 was supposed to release a week from now." He said he is unsure about the film's release but is still hopeful. He added saying, “We all are dealing with this, I do wish the film releases,” and stressed that he wants it to release ‘in a theatre, hopefully soon."
Varun Dhawan also interacted with his Bollywood bff Arjun Kapoor. Varun Dhawan called Arjun as Chachuu in the video and joked about Arjun not wearing clothes. Dhawan also spoke about the Coronavirus crisis and said that Arjun and his sister, Anshula Kapoor are doing some good work. Arjun Kapoor also ended the stream saying that he is looking forward to more videos.
