After Duvvada Jagannadham, Harish Shankar has not announced his next film for quite a long time. Now, he is ready to make the camera roll for Mega Prince, Varun Tej. After so many rumours that he was going to make a movie with newcomers under Dil Raju production, he prepared to remake the Tamil Superhit movie 'Jigarthanda' directed by Karthik Subbaraju. It is named as 'Valmiki' in Telugu.
This morning, the movie was launched at Ramanaidu studios and the first clap was given by Niharika Konidela, the sister of Varun Tej as per his sentiment. Previously all movies clapped by this golden girl turned into blockbusters for his brother. Ram Bobba switched on the camera. Filmmaker VV Vinayak directed the first shot and Sukumar has done the pooja ceremony.
The director and actor revealed their title and it’s logo through Twitter. It seems like from past few days this director was in talks with Varun Tej and waited for his nod for this 'Valmiki'. Rockstar DSP will compose the music, While Ram-Laxman has been recruited to take care of action part, Avinash Kolla is going to be the art director and Chota K Prasad is the editor for 'Valmiki'. This movie will be bankrolled under 14 reels entertainment by Ram and Gopi Achanta.
