With the lockdown in place, OTT platforms are trying their best to keep their viewers entertained with new films and shows. Amazon Prime has now announced that Vicky Kaushal's film Bhoot: The Haunted Ship will be Online streaming from April 22nd.

 
Bhoot: The Haunted Ship had an average box office performance. The film grossed Rs 40.94 cores on a budget of Rs 30 crores. The film followed the tale of a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on the beach. Written by Bhanu Pratap Singh, the story was based on a true incident that took place in Mumbai. The film was the first film in the franchise. It looks like a second film might be in the works.
 
Bhanu Pratap Singh directed the film. Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar produced the film under the production banners of Dharma Production and Zee Studio. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles. And Siddhanth Kapoor, Meher Vij, Sara Gesawat, and Priya Chauhan is portraying in the supportive roles. Akhil Sachdeva was the film's music director.
 
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal will next appear in the film Sardar Udham Singh. The film follows the life of revolutionary freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh. Sardar Udham Singh assassinated
 
Michael O'Dwyer, the officer responsible for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919. Shoojit Sircar is directing the film. Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar are producing the film under the banner Rising Sun Films, and Kino Works. The film will hit the theatres on 15th January 2021.
