Vignesh Shivan shared a post on social media. The post read, “Health does not always come from medicine. Most of the time it comes from peace of mind, peace in the heart, and peace in the soul. It comes from laughter and love.” This post is written after the Tamil Nadu government published the final reports over the surrogacy row. He also shared the quote, “If we spread love as quickly as we spread hate and negativity, what an amazing world we would live in.”
Now, the tribunal is said to have found the hospital administration responsible for breaking the surrogacy laws. Ma Subramaniam, the health minister for Tamil Nadu, reportedly made the announcement that the findings will be made public on October 26. He stated that the hospital administration is reportedly facing legal action because the panel found their explanation irrational.
In India, Surrogation six years after the marriage is unlawful. The Tamil Nadu government established a three-person committee to look into possible surrogacy law violations by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan.
In this case, Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan apparently provided the committee with some supporting documentation. It included their marriage license from six years prior. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan chose surrogacy as a result.
