Ever since it got announced that Vijay Sethupathi is acting in Thalapthy Vijay's upcoming film, the expectations of that movie reached the next level. This is the first time these two stalwarts are coming together for a movie. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Khaidi fame, this film is tentatively called as Thalapathy 64.
The team of Thalapathy 64 was in Shimoga from the last four weeks shooting a major schedule of the film. The makers shot a key jail sequence in the Shivamogga central jail. According to the sources, Vijay Sethupathi joined the movie in this schedule and also shot for a few key sequences with Vijay. Apparently, these scenes came out well and will enthrall the audiences for sure. Now, the team took a break and will start the next schedule in Chennai.
The first schedule of the film got filmed in Delhi on a college campus. Lokesh is planning to wrap up the film soon and release it in April itself. Thalapathy 64 features Malavika Mohanan as the female lead. Andrea Jeremiah is playing another important role in this action thriller. Rockstar Anirudh is composing the music and noted producer Xavier Britto is bankrolling the project. Watch this space for more updates on this film.
