Vijay Deverakonda releases a video online and lashes out on the websites that are spreading fake news on him

Of late, Vijay Deverakonda has become a news piece for the media houses due to his bold attitude. Vijay always does what he likes to do and was never apologetic about it. Be it his fashion sense or his public speeches, the actor is always targeted for his behavior. Recently, many Telugu heroes have donated towards the relief funds of the coronavirus pandemic. Vijay is the only star hero who has not announced any donation. Thus, a section of websites has targeted him and lamented for not donating any money. Fed up with the fake news and the reputation-damaging articles, Vijay decided to give clarity on this issue. Thus, he released a video earlier today and lashed out on the websites who are spreading fake news on him. The actor said that he will donate whenever he wants to and in whatever form he wishes to. He said that the websites have no right to criticize his personal choices.

Along with the video, Vijay wrote, "When someone who is supposed to be the guardian of truth lies to you or betrays your trust, intentionally -the society is in danger. This Video Is my responsibility to my people. Meanwhile, You are welcome to continue trying to end my career, destroy my image, write nonsense about me. Cuz, IDGAF Over and out. #KillFakeNews #SpreadPositivity."

Vijay also said the websites write good stuff about the actors if they get interviews from them. If the actors are not available for the interviews or promotions, the websites start reporting fake news on them. The Arjun Reddy actor stated that he will give an interview whenever it is necessary.

On the other side, Vijay has recently started a fundraiser initiative called Middle-Class Fund. The money that got collected through this fund went into the donation of ration and daily essentials for the middle-class people, who are in need during these tough times.
