Vijay Sethupathi is one of the prolific actors Tamil cinema has produced in the last decade. Without exuding superstar vibes, Vijay Sethupathi maintains a simple lifestyle and loves interacting with his fans. This 2020, he stepped into Bollywood with a couple of projects at different stages of production. He will be doing Mumbaikar, with Vikrant Massey, which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Mumbaikar is the Hindi remake of Tamil hit film Maanagaram. In a recent interview, he opened up about taking the big leap.
Speaking to The News minute, Vijay Sethupathi said, "I have done nothing! I never planned anything. Not my life, neither my career as an actor. The transition, as you call it, is also happening on its own. I always believe the work I am doing is not in my hands. There are powers far stronger than me guiding my destiny. The lockdown broke the language barrier as everyone enjoyed watching all kinds of films at the comfort of their homes. There is no language barrier in cinema and no language barrier in art."
