Vijay Sethupathi receives Kalaimamani Award from Tamil Nadu Minister

Early this year, the government of Tamil Nadu announced that Vijay Sethupathi will be honoured with Kalaimamani award.

Vijay Sethupathi receives Kalaimamani Award from Tamil Nadu Minister

Vijay Sethupathi is an asset to the Tamil film industry and today he is one of the most celebrated actors across the country. Recently, the actor was in Mumbai to take part in a Round Table show for a popular television channel along with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

 
Early this year, the Tamil Nadu government announced Kalaimamani awards and revealed that Vijay Sethupathi is a recipient of the cine industry. The actor who is busy with multiple films couldn't attend the event.
 
Since he couldn't attend the event a couple of months ago, he met the minister and received the award. On Friday, he was at the Secretariat where Ma Foi Pandiarajan Minister for Tamil language, Tamil Culture, and Archeology presented the award to him and lyricist Yugabharathi.
 
Popular composer Deva, chairman of Tamil Nadu Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram was present during the event.
 
Vijay Sethupathi is now shooting for his upcoming film, Thalapathy 64 with Lokesh Kanagaraj. He will also shoot for Telugu film Uppena in the coming months.
