Thalapathy Vijay is presently shooting for his upcoming film, Thalapathy 64. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film had tipped as a gangster film. The film has a star cast including Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj un pivotal roles.
Recently, a photo of actor Vijay from the shooting spot of Thalapathy 64. In the photo, the actor is wearing a tag and rumors are rife that the actor will play the role of a college student in the film. The photo went viral on social media.
However, the makers sprung into swift action and reported the photo. Based on the complaint, Twitter seemed the photo as a leaked photo and removed it from the social networking website. It also sent notices to the profiles that shared the photo.
Sources close to the team reveal that there is a college flashback portion in the film in which Vijay will be seen as a college student. However, the makers are tight-lipped about the film’s story, genre and any other details regarding Thalapathy 64.
