After exercising his right to vote, Vijay flew to Georgia to take part in the shooting of his upcoming film, which is tentatively titled Thalapathy 65. The film, produced by Sun Pictures, is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Nelson made his debut with Nayanthara's Kolamaavu Kokila and is waiting for the release of his second film, Doctor with Sivakarthikeyan. Thalapathy 65 marks his third film in his career. The entire crew of Thalapathy 65 are stationed in Georgia and the first schedule is expected to go on for about a month there. The Thalapathy 65 team has taken proper security measures on the sets to not get affected by the deadly virus.
Sun Pictures, the production house of Thalapathy 65, took to social media to share a photo from the film sets. In the photo, Nelson Dilipkumar can be seen discussing something with actor Vijay on the set. We can also see many tents and people working for the film. Actress Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. Composer Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the tunes for the film. It is to be seen if Thalapathy 65 will hit the theatres later this year or early next year.
