Following the official announcement of actor Vijay's upcoming Tamil film Thalapathy 67, the makers held a pooja ahead of the film's shoot. They recently released the final cast list for the film. The film's first shoot will take place in Kashmir.
The film's working title is Thalapathy 67. Lokesh Kanagaraj directs it, and it marks his reunion with Vijay after Master. The film's crew released a new video in which Trisha Krishnan and Vijay appeared together for the first time in a long time. Previously, the two worked together on films such as Ghilli and Thirupaachi.
Trisha wore a beige saree to the pooja ceremony, while Vijay wore a dark olive green shirt with denim pants. In addition, Thalapathy 67 actors Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand attended the event.
The film's crew recently left for their first shoot in Kashmir. Fans learned about the team's journey. And even obtained the entire passenger list to learn the names of actors and crew members who will appear in the film. Trisha, Sathyaraj, and Priya were among those present. Their photos from the Chennai airport have also gone viral on social media.
According to director Lokesh, Thalapathy 67 will be a gangster film. He recently revealed that the film will not be included in his LCU - Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Lokesh clarified the rumors at the trailer launch event for the recently released Tamil film, Laththi. He said, "I can’t talk about the project now. But I can say that it won’t be part of the universe. It’ll be a gangster film but I can only share more information about the project after the release of Varisu.” It will be one of the most significant releases in the Tamil film industry.
