Actor Vishal is presently waiting for the release of his upcoming film Enemy. Directed by Anand Shankar, the film will star his best friend Arya as the antagonist. The last time Vishal wore a police uniform was in director Sundar C's Ayogya, which turned out to be a damp dquib at the box office. After three years, Vishal is all set to play a copy again, which will be directed by newcomer A Vinothkumar. So far, the film was referred to as #Vishal32. Recently, Vishal revealed that the film has been titled Laththi. The film will be produced by actors Ramana and Nandaa. The title motion poster o Laththi was unveiled recently.
While Vishal will play the role of a cop named S Muruganantham, Sunaninaa will play his romantic interest in the film. The shooting of Laththi went on floors on September 4 and has now been wrapped up. Composer Sam CS and cinematographer M Balasubramaniam are part of the technical crew. A source told The Times of India, "Vishal had decided not to do cop roles for some time post-Ayogya, and in fact, had parked this script, hoping to do it at a later stage. But the story is an extraordinary one and actors Ramana and Nandaa, who are producing the movie, convinced the actor to take it up.”
