Director MS Anandan's Chakra starring Vishal, Shraddha Srinath, and Regina Cassandra was released on February 19, 2021. The film, produced by Vishal Film Factory received mixed responses from critics and audiences alike. Ahead of the film's release, there were several controversies surrounding the film. Initially, Trident Arts had pursued a case against Vishal asking him to settle the pending dues of Rs 8 crore. Following Trident Arts, Lyca Productions had also filed a case against Vishal regarding Chakra. Now, Madras High Court has heard the case and ruled in favor of Vishal.
Justice G Jayadrchandran heard the case and wondered how the production company could have entered into a one-sided agreement with clauses heavily in favor of the lender. The judge had also imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh to Lyca Productions.Always believed that Justice will Prevail & Truth will Triumph,
