Vishnu Manchu was staying away from films and did not sign multiple projects as he was giving back-to-back flops. To set things right, he teamed up with writer Kona Venkat and readied an action comedy called Ginna which was directed by Suryaah. Vishnu produced the film himself and roped in popular heroines like Sunny Leone and Payal Rajput.
The film was released at the theaters last Friday and has tanked at the box office. The occupancy has been so low that the action drama was removed from several theaters in Telugu states. Even though it is a Diwali weekend, there are absolutely no takers for this film which is a shocker for Vishnu who was so confident about the success.
The makers did everything to keep the film in the news and the trolling that happens on Vishnu's family has also taken a toll on the film and its outcome as not many have shown interest in this comedy. The film's fun troll was even trending at one point making the film a laughing goat at the box office.
On Vishnu's behalf, he has done everything when it came to making the film click. He did solid action, danced his heart out, and even spent solid money on the promotions of the film. But still, the moviegoers have slammed the film and have watched more interest to watch the Kannada film Kantara which is doing solid business at the box office.
