Due to the sudden outbreak of the deadly coronavirus, the entire country is currently in lockdown. The government, which has initially announced a 21 days lockdown period, is now in plans to extend it. Already, multiple state governments have made the announcement regarding the same. The government of Telangana too extended the lockdown period. More than any other people, the daily wage workers are getting more affected because of the lockdown. On this note, Megastar Chiranjeevi took the initiative and started Corona Crisis Charity. Through this charity, he has been collecting funds from other people from the industry. A number of actors have already come forward and done their part in donating to the cause. Now, the most recent to join the list is ace director Koratala Siva.
 
"Donating 5 lakhs to #CoronaCrisisCharity for the welfare of daily wage workers of our film industry. I’m a part of this beautiful family and we all will fight this together" tweeted Koratala Siva. The star director Koratala Siva also added that his act is not charity, but his fans are happy with his kind gesture. Koratala Siva earlier also came up with donations whenever there is a chance to help those in need.
 
On the work front, Koratala Siva, who has has been riding high with back to back blockbuster movies, joined hands with Megastar Chiranjeevi for his upcoming film 'Acharya'. Ram Charan is bankrolling this project in association with Matinee Entertainments. Charan will also play a key role in the film.
